1. Pray for us, blessed Father Francis.
2. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:

O Lord Jesus Christ, who, when the world was growing cold, in order to inflame our hearts with the fire of your love, renewed the scared marks of your suffering on the body of our blessed father Francis, mercifully grant that by his merits and prayers we may persevere in bearing the cross and bring forth worthy fruits of penance. Who live and reign, world without end. Amen.
